Happy Birthday Camper (Handmade Card)

Hi friends,

This One Happy Camper stamp set from Unity Stamp Company was perfect for sending birthday wishes to my sister. She and my brother-in-law take their RV south for the winter and I thought of her as soon as I saw this stamp. I sent this to her last November and am finally posting this fun card.

The happy birthday stamp is also from Unity Stamp Company. The set is called Extended Celebration {Front & Center Stamps} and includes 19 birthday images and sentiments.

I stamped the camper image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white card stock, colored it with Copic markers, and fussy cut around it. (These are my favorite detail scissors.) I stamped the sentiment with turquoise ink on white card stock and punched it with a label punch. I punched a piece from green patterned paper using the same punch. I cut that piece in half and layered the 2 pieces behind the sentiment piece, leaving a small amount showing. (The punch I used is discontinued, but this is a similar die set that could be used in the same way.)

I embossed a piece of turquoise card stock with a small dots embossing folder and attached it to a white card. I punched 2 pieces of white card stock with a scalloped edge border punch, attached them to a piece of green patterned paper, and attached it to the card over the turquoise piece. Both the camper image and the sentiment are attached to the card with foam tape. I finished the card with 3 turquoise Dew Drops.

This is a fun little card you can send to all of the campers in your life. 🙂

Anita
