This is a fun stamp set from Unity Stamp Company that is perfect for celebrating all kinds of things. It’s called Celebrate the New – I love the fireworks!

I thought she would make a great birthday card to celebrate a sweet friend’s birthday – I actually made 2 cards to celebrate 2 sweet friends. 🙂

This card ended up being a little larger than my normal A2 size card. The card is about 5 by 7 inches. I wanted to have plenty of room for the stamped images so they wouldn’t look squished together. I stamped the panel first and then cut the card base to the size I wanted from white card stock.

I stamped the girl and fireworks on white card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the girl with Copic markers and the used these great blender brushes to add color to the fireworks. I also used the blender brushes to add blue ink around the edges of the panel. Then I layered it to purple card stock and attached it to a white card.

I stamped “celebrate” with light purple ink on white card stock and trimmed around it. (These are my favorite detail scissors.) It’s attached to the card with foam tape.

To finish the card, I added dots of gold glitter glue to the center of the fireworks.

This stamp set would be fun in red, white, and blue for the 4th of July, or black and gold for New Year’s celebrations, or any color scheme for birthdays. How will you color her?
