Crochet Bunny Basket

Hi friends,

There’s still time to stitch up this sweet little Crochet Bunny Basket before Easter! I found this cute bunny basket while perusing Pinterest at Craftsy Amore and you can find the pattern here. 🐰

The pattern uses velvet yarn to stitch up the basket. I decided to use Bernat Blanket Yarn in Vintage White with a J/6mm crochet hook because I had some leftover from another project. I didn’t have quite enough to finish the tail, so I used Baby Bee Snugs & Kisses yarn in Soft Snowflake to crochet the tail – and who doesn’t love a cute white bunny tail! πŸ‡

Because I used a thicker yarn my basket turned out a little larger than the one in the pattern, but size doesn’t necessarily matter for the Crochet Bunny Basket. And because it’s bigger, there’s room for more Easter candy! πŸ˜‰

This is a pattern that works up quickly. I think you can make it with any bulkier weight velvet or plush yarn in any color that makes you happy. πŸ™‚ Fill it with Easter treats for a fun little Easter basket. 🐰
