Tumbling Tower Block Pumpkins

Hi friends,

The Tumbling Tower Blocks from Dollar Tree can be used for so many different crafts! Do a quick search on Pinterest and you’ll find lots of ideas.

Turning these little blocks into tiny pumpkins is one of my favorite ideas. A little paint, hot glue, and some sticks for a stem are all you need to make pumpkins like mine.

I used orange, white, and turquoise paint for my pumpkins. I painted 8 little blocks with 2 coats of paint for each pumpkin. Once completely dry, I lightly dry brushed the blocks with brown paint to give them some depth and to make them a bit rustic.

I hot glued the blocks together like in the pictures below, leaving a space to add my stick for the stem. I added hot glue to the stick and slipped it into the space. To finish my pumpkins, I tied natural twine in a knot around the stem.

A couple other ideas for stems are cinnamon sticks or another little tumbling block painted brown or green sticking out from the top.

This could be a fun project to do with the kids. 🙂 Let them paint the blocks and then help with hot glueing them together.

These little pumpkins measure about 2 inches tall plus the stem. They are the perfect size for your tiered tray or any place you want to tuck a little Fall decor.
