When a little one turns one, the occasion calls for a special card! This cute little Happy Birthday Gnome stamp from Unity Stamp Company is so fun for making birthday cards.

I stamped the gnome with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white card stock and colored him with Copic markers. I stamped the number “1” in the balloon and added Diamond Glaze to the balloon to add a bit of shine. After it was dry, I die cut around the image using these Deckle & Stitches Nesting Dies and layered it to blue card stock die cut with the same set.

I die cut a piece of green card stock with the same die set and attached it to a white card. The gnome image is attached to the card using foam tape. I stamped the sentiment with black ink, die cut around it using the smallest die in the set, and attached it to the card using foam tape. This sentiment stamp is discontinued – use your favorite birthday sentiment from your collection when you make your card. 🙂
