Super Quick Crochet Valentine Heart Ornaments

Hi friends,

These cute little Valentine Heart Ornaments work up in about 5 minutes! ♥️🩷 They are just 2 rounds and are perfect for using up yarn scraps.🧶

To make my hearts, I followed the first 2 rounds of this pattern from Sarah Maker. At the end of round 2 before cutting my yarn, I chained 12 and then slip stitched back to the slip stitch at the end of round 2 to make the hanging loop.

I used I Love This Yarn in Red and Pink with an H/5mm crochet hook to stitch up my heart ornaments. My finished hearts measure about 3 inches across.

I’m planning to tie the hearts onto little cellophane bags filled with Valentine treats using red/white bakers twine. You could also string them onto twine or a crocheted chain to create a garland. They would make a great addition to a Valentine wreath, too. ♥️🩷
