Hi friends,
I was looking through my craft stash and found this unfinished wood plaque and some unfinished wood hearts. With a little paint and some scrapbook papers, I created a cute plaque to add to my Valentine decor. ♥️

My plaque measures about 5 by 7 inches – you could also use a piece of scrap wood to make this. I painted it with 2 coats of white acrylic paint using a foam brush.

My large hearts measure about 2.5 inches across and my small hearts are about an inch across. (These are similar hearts.) I traced the hearts on the back of coordinating Valentine scrapbook papers and cut them out. (These are my favorite detail scissors.) Using a foam brush, I applied a thin layer of Mod Podge to the hearts and smoothed the papers hearts on top. Once dry, I applied another thin layer of Mod Podge over the top of each heart.
I glued the large hearts to the plaque using E6000 clear adhesive. Then I glued the little hearts to the center of each large heart.

This is a simple little project, but I think it turned out so cute! It’s a fun addition to my Valentine decor. ♥️
