Hi friends,
Sympathy cards are never easy to make, but they mean so much to those who receive them. Today I’m sharing a clean and simple card to have on hand if the need arises.

The stamp I used is called You’ve Got You from Unity Stamp Company. I love the simple flower silhouette.
I used an oval stencil with a blender brush to apply blue ink to white card stock. Then I stamped the flowers and the sentiment with Memento Rich Cocoa ink over the blue oval. The sentiment is part of an older stamp set that is no longer available. This is a larger stamp, but I love the font and think it would be pretty on this card. Using these Scallops & Rectangles Nesting Dies, I die cut around the image and layered it to blue card stock die cut with the same set. Then the piece is attached to a white card.
This card layout can easily be used for different occasions, birthday, thinking of you, sympathy, thank you – just change the sentiment. Stamp up a few cards and leave the sentiment off. Then when you need a quick card, just stamp the appropriate sentiment and you are ready to go.
Anita
