Wood Polka Dot Bunny “Peeps”

Hi friends,

Here’s a fun little craft to add to your Easter decor! These cute Wood Polka Dot Bunny “Peeps” are quick and easy to make. They are the perfect size to add to your tiered tray, to tuck onto your mantel, or to add to your table centerpiece.

I found my wood bunny cutouts at Hobby Lobby in the seasonal section. They measure about 5-inches tall and 1-inch wide. You’ll also need some acrylic paint in the main colors you want to paint your bunnies along with white and black.

First paint your bunnies with 2-3 coats of the main color, letting it dry between coats. To add the white polka dots, I used the rounded end of a paintbrush dipped into the paint and then tapped it randomly onto the bunny. After the white dots are completely dry, add the black eyes and nose in the same way.

And that’s it! Super easy and super cute!

This might also be a fun project to do with the kids. They can paint them up in their favorite colors. 🙂

Happy Crafting! 🙂
