Hi friends,
My brother-in-law just turned 70 – so of course he needed a special card to celebrate the day!

I used the Balloon Party Background stamp from Unity Stamp Company to create the base of the card. I stamped the balloons with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on white card stock and colored it with Copic Markers. I die cut the piece using the Scallops & Rectangles Nesting Dies and attached it to blue card stock. The piece is then attached to a white card.
Just a tip for stamping larger stamps. I like to use my Misti Stamping Tool. Then if it doesn’t quite stamp evenly, you can just re-ink the stamp and stamp it again. I also love using this Stamp Pressure Tool with my Misti.

I stamped the word “happy” from the Heart of Autumn stamp set from Unity Stamp Company with black ink on yellow card stock. I die cut the word using the matching die set. Using 2 inch number dies, I die cut “70” from blue card stock. Both “happy” and “70” are attached to the card with foam tape.

This layout can be colored up in any color combo and be used for any special birthday – and they are all special! What a fun way to celebrate!
Anita
