Flourless Banana Oatmeal Muffins

Hi friends,

I’m always looking for healthier breakfast options that I can make ahead and put in the freezer.

These Banana Oatmeal Muffins are made with no flour or added sugar and are so yummy! (There is natural sugar from the bananas and applesauce.)πŸ˜‹ You can find the recipe here.

The only thing I did differently from the recipe as it is written was to add a teaspoon of vanilla and some mini semisweet chocolate chips. Of course the chocolate chips added a bit of extra sugar to the muffins but so worth it for the extra flavor! πŸ˜‰

Here are the muffins ready to go in the oven…

And fresh and hot from the oven!

You can store the Banana Oatmeal Muffins in the fridge for up to 3 days or wrap them individually in plastic wrap and put them in a freezer bag in the freezer for up to 3 months.

Either way you store them, you can pop them in the microwave when you are ready to enjoy them. The muffins not only make a great breakfast, but also a healthier tasty after school treat! πŸ˜‹
