This sweet little chick is so cute for sending Easter wishes! He’s from the stamp set called Swagger from Unity Stamp Company and I love the little hearts.

I stamped the chick with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on white card stock and colored it with Copic markers. I stamped “Happy Easter” with turquoise ink at an angle above the chick. My stamp is one I’ve had forever – use your favorite Easter stamp on your card. Using these Scallops & Banners Nesting Dies, I die cut around the stamped image.

To make the card, I attached a piece of pink patterned paper and a piece of turquoise patterned paper to a white card. I embossed a strip of white card stock with a dot embossing folder and attached it where the 2 pieces of patterned paper came together.

The stamped piece is attached to the card using foam tape. To finish the card, I added a knotted piece of ribbon to the top of the banner.

The soft colors of Spring and the cute little chick are perfect for this time of year. You can even change the sentiment and this card can be used for other occasions – birthday, thinking of you, or just a note.
