Prone to Shenanigans – Handmade Card

Hi friends,

Prone to Shenanigans…and Malarkey! This cute Shenanigans Gnome from Unity Stamp Company is a fun way to send St. Patrick’s Day greetings.☘️

I stamped the gnome and pot of gold with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white card stock and colored them with Copic markers. I colored the coins with a gold metallic pen. Then I fussy cut around both images. (These are my favorite detail scissors.)

To create the background, I applied green ink to white card stock using a blender brush and this Grassy Edged Stencil from MFT Stamps. Then I added clouds with light blue ink, a blender brush, and this Cloud Stencil. I layered the piece to green card stock and attached it to a white card.

I stamped the sentiment with green ink on white card stock and punched it with an oval punch. The pot of gold is attached directly to the card. The gnome and the sentiment are attached to the card with foam tape.

Don’t forget to wear your green on St. Patrick’s Day so you don’t get pinched!!😉☘️

Slow Cooker Meat Lovers Chili

Hi friends,

It’s been a while since I made this Slow Cooker Meat Lovers Chili. I recently made it to take to a pot luck and just had to share it with all of you again because it’s so good!😋

You can find the original post below with the link to the recipe.

Looking for a yummy chili recipe for the cold winter days ahead? You need to try this Slow Cooker Meat Lovers Chili! You can find the recipe here at Passionate Penny Pincher.

It’s super easy to make and because you make it in your slow cooker, you can start it in the morning, get on with all the other things you need to do, and dinner will be ready in about 6 hours.

To make my prep time even shorter in the morning, I browned my meat along with the onions and garlic the night before and put it in a container in the fridge. Then all I had to do was add the meat and the rest of the ingredients to my slow cooker and turn it on.

I took the Slow Cooker Meat Lovers Chili to share with some friends for dinner and one of them said “I think this is the best chili I’ve ever had”. 😊 It really is yummy!

We added cheddar cheese, a dollop of sour cream, and some Fritos on the side (or mix them into your bowl 😊). A little side salad with your favorite dressing and you’ll have a great meal!

Sweet Crochet Baby Gift

Hi friends,

My sister asked me to crochet a baby gift for her to give to a friend and a blanket with a cute lovey is always fun to give.🧸🤍🤎

I stitched the cute bear lovey and the blanket using I Love This Yarn in White and Cinnamon with G/4mm and I/5.5mm crochet hooks. You’ll also need a little black yarn for the face and Poly-fil to stuff the head and arms.

The pattern for the sweet Crochet Bear Lovey is from A Crafty Concept and you can find it here. The pattern for the Blanket Stitch Baby Blanket is my own creation and you can find the pattern in this post. Both patterns are great for advanced beginner to experienced crocheters.

I hope the new little one will enjoy snuggling up with this cute bear lovey and sweet blanket!🧸🤍🤎

With Sympathy – Handmade Card

Hi friends,

Sympathy cards are never easy to make, but they mean so much to those who receive them. Today I’m sharing a clean and simple card to have on hand if the need arises.

Disclosure: Some of the links on my site are affiliate links, meaning, at no additional cost to you, I will earn a small commission if you click through and make a purchase. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

The stamp I used is called You’ve Got You from Unity Stamp Company. I love the simple flower silhouette.

I used an oval stencil with a blender brush to apply blue ink to white card stock. Then I stamped the flowers and the sentiment with Memento Rich Cocoa ink over the blue oval. The sentiment is part of an older stamp set that is no longer available. This is a larger stamp, but I love the font and think it would be pretty on this card. Using these Scallops & Rectangles Nesting Dies, I die cut around the image and layered it to blue card stock die cut with the same set. Then the piece is attached to a white card.

This card layout can easily be used for different occasions, birthday, thinking of you, sympathy, thank you – just change the sentiment. Stamp up a few cards and leave the sentiment off. Then when you need a quick card, just stamp the appropriate sentiment and you are ready to go.

Sending Christmas Love – February 2025 Christmas Card

Hi friends,

Making monthly Christmas cards continues at Creating Me with this sweet Pooh image. This is my 3rd or 4th year of creating a Christmas card each month and then making a few cards of that design. It’s great to have them all made when the busy holiday season hits. 🎄

You can find January’s card here.

Disclosure: Some of the links on my site are affiliate links, meaning, at no additional cost to you, I will earn a small commission if you click through and make a purchase. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

This cute stamp is called Winnie the Pooh: Sweet Notes From Pooh from Unity Stamp Company. I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white card stock and colored it with Copic markers. I used the Postage Stamp Nesting Dies from Unity Stamp Company to die cut around the image.

To make the card, I embossed a piece of red card stock with a snowflake embossing folder (similar to this) and attached it to a white card. The stamped image is attached to the card with foam tape.

I stamped the sentiment with green ink on white card stock, punched it with a label punch, and attached it to the card. Both the sentiment stamp and the punch I used have been in my collection forever and are no longer available. ☹️ Use your favorite sentiment or even none at all – it will still be a very cute card! 🎄

Get started on your Christmas cards now – I promise you’ll be glad you did. 😊

Crochet Train Cuddler

Hi friends,

Do you know about 3am Grace Designs? They have the cutest Kawaii Cuddler crochet patterns available along with safety eyes, stickers, crochet accessories, and more. 🧶

This cute Train Cuddler was so fun to make – you can find the paid pattern here. I stitched up my train using I Love This Yarn with an H/5mm crochet hook. The only thing I did differently from the pattern was to stitch up little black circles for the eyes and sew them in place instead of using safety eyes. I gifted the train to a one year old and wanted to be extra safe! Don’t forget your Poly-fil to stuff your cuddler. 😉

There are so many different Kawaii Cuddler crochet patterns to choose from – everything from animals to transportation to holidays to alphabet and numbers to so much more! They even have some mini cuddler patterns available. I’m sure you will find the perfect pattern to make for that special someone. 😊

Someone is 3! – Handmade Card

Hi friends,

A special little boy just turned 3! I made this cute card to celebrate his day!🎉

Disclosure: Some of the links on my site are affiliate links, meaning, at no additional cost to you, I will earn a small commission if you click through and make a purchase. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

This cute birthday bear is part of the Special Delivery stamp set from My Favorite Things.

I stamped the image on white card stock and colored him with Copic markers. Using these Stitched Mini Scallop Rectangle dies, I die cut around the image.

To make the card, I embossed a piece of red card stock with this Sweet Squares embossing folder and attached it to a white card. I stamped the sentiment with red ink on white card stock and die cut around it with these Scalloped & Stitched nesting dies. This particular sentiment stamp is one I’ve had in my collection for a long time and is no longer available – use your favorite birthday sentiment stamp from your collection on your card. The bear image and the sentiment are attached to the card with foam tape.

I die cut a “3” from patterned paper and attached it to the card with foam tape. This is a very similar set of number dies.

Such a fun way to celebrate a little one’s special day! 🎉

White Chocolate Butterscotch Chip Cookies

Hi friends,

Do you like white chocolate? How about butterscotch? These yummy cookies have both white chocolate chips and butterscotch chips in them and they are so tasty. 😋

Disclosure: Some of the links on my site are affiliate links, meaning, at no additional cost to you, I will earn a small commission if you click through and make a purchase. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

You can find the recipe here at I Heart Naptime. The recipe has almond extract which adds an extra little touch to these cookies. I also used dark brown sugar because that’s what I had on hand and it worked great.

I used my 1 tablespoon cookie scoop to add the dough to baking sheets lined with silicone baking mats. Before putting them in the oven, I slightly flattened each cookie. They smell so good while they are baking!

I was able to get about 5 dozen cookies by using my cookie scoop. These are just the first batch I baked. 😊

I think these would also be yummy with just the white chocolate chips or just the butterscotch chips alone if you don’t want to add both. Just increase the amount of whichever one you are using. 🙂

Happy Baking!🍪
