I’m in a book club with several wonderful ladies. This is something new for me. I have always been a reader…never without at least one book on the table next to my bed. But I’ve never been in a group before and I have to say it is so much fun getting together to discuss what we’ve read!

I found the perfect stamp from Unity Stamp Company to make bookmarks for my friends. The name of the stamp set is “Part of the Story”. I just love the way she is so engrossed in her book!

She is stamped with black ink on white card stock and colored with Copic markers. I trimmed the image and attached it to blue card stock trimmed to the same size for the back. 

I wanted to make sure the bookmarks would last, so I picked up some self-adhesive laminating sheets from my local office supply store and sandwiched the bookmarks between 2 sheets. Then I trimmed each image leaving about an eighth of an inch of the laminate on each side.
