I found this wood bunny at the Target Dollar Spot. I loved the shape of him, but the color…not so much.
So I got out my chalk finish white paint and painted the entire bunny with 3 coats, making sure to let each coat dry before adding the next. Then I dry-brushed a bit of dark brown paint to add a little depth and distressing. I finished him off with a ribbon bow. He’s a perfect size – about 7 inches by 7 inches…
I almost walked right by him when I first saw him, but I’m so glad I went back and scooped him up for only $3.00! A little paint, a little time and now I have a cute bunny to add a touch of Spring to my decor. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by,
Anita
