Three Cards Published In The New Take Ten!!

The Winter 2018 issue of Take Ten Magazine is out and I’m so excited! I have 3 cards published in this issue and they are all on the same page. So fun to have my own page in the magazine. 🙂

All 3 stamp sets are from Unity Stamp Company. I’ve said it before in other posts, but this is seriously the best company! They have so many great stamps and the quality is amazing – plus great customer service and awesome sales! You need to check them out! 🙂

Here are some closer pictures of each card.

The set for this card is called Love to Go. I’m not sure where my coffee bean embossing folder is from, but here’s a link to a similar one.

This set is called Hello Love. The Cable Knit embossing folder is from Taylored Expressions and the Swiss Dot embossing folder is from Cuttlebug.

And this one is Dream of Being. I used the Cable Knit and Swiss Dot embossing folders along with the Heart embossing folder from Hobby Lobby.

Congrats! I love your copic coloring for the second card. Do you have a video on how you color your cards or can recommend one? Is that paper piecing on the 3rd card?

Thanks, Nisha! I don’t have a video, but if you search on Pinterest there are tons! I have looked at so many different ones I’m not sure I could recommend one, but look for something that shows blending techniques. I’m by no stretch of the imagination an expert – but I think blending is the key. I’ve just learned by trial and error. No paper piecing just coloring with Copics. 😊
