Oh my goodness! These Crochet Mini Flip Flop Key Chains are just the cutest things! They are super easy to make and are so fun for the Summer.☀️
You can find the free pattern here at Maki Crochet Patterns. She also includes a video which I highly recommend watching, especially the part about joining the soles together. It’s a little trickier than a simple single crochet, but her video shows exactly how to do it.
I used Artiste #8 Crochet Cotton in turquoise and pink to crochet my flip flops. The pattern calls for a thinner weight cotton thread and to use 2 strands. Since this cotton thread is thicker (#8) I just used one strand with a 3mm hook.
You’ll also need 1 to 1 1/4-inch split key rings. Like the ones you can find here.
Aren’t they just the cutest little flip flops? 🙂
There are so many different color combinations you can make these in – you’re only limited by the colors of crochet cotton thread you can find! They would be adorable attached to your beach bag, purse, or back pack. They would also make fun favors for a Summer birthday party…☀️
Thanks for stopping by,
