Graduation Card

Hi friends,

It’s graduation time! Do you have any special grads in your life? It seems we always have a few every year. 🎓

If you’ve followed me for a while, you know I love making cards and graduation cards are no exception. In fact, I can’t remember the last time I actually purchased a greeting card…🤔

This card was super easy and fun to make. The “congratulations” word is from this great stamp set from Unity Stamp Company called Gotta Love Sentiments. I love the font of this set! The graduation cap embossing folder is from Darice – you can find it here. My graduation cap stamp is one I’ve had forever, but there are a couple of cute ones in this set.

My stitched rectangle die is from the Stitched Mini Slim Stacklets die set from Taylored Expressions. I also used an oval punch similar to this.

To make the card, I stamped “congratulations” several times on white card stock with navy blue ink and die cut it with the stitched rectangle die. I stamped the graduation cap with navy ink on white card stock and punched it with the oval punch. I punched another oval from navy card stock and layered it behind the stamped oval.

I embossed a panel of navy card stock with the graduation cap embossing folder and attached it to a white card. I attached the stamped images to the card with foam tape. I finished the card by adding 3 gold sequins.

Wouldn’t this card be fun in your Grad’s school colors?!?! 🎓

Happy Stamping!

Anita
