Halloween is just around the corner! 🎃 Do you have any little trick-or-treaters that need a special treat? These Halloween Test Tube Treats are so fun – just add a handmade tag and they are sure to bring a smile!

I found my plastic test tubes here on Amazon. They come in a package of 30 for $15.99, so just over 50 cents each. (Remember that prices are subject to change on Amazon.) They come with screw top caps and have a flat bottom.

The tags are made with products from Taylored Expressions. First I stamped the Pick of the Patch Background Cling & Clear Combo pumpkins with orange ink on white card stock. Then I stamped the stems with green ink and the faces with black ink. Using the matching Pick of the Patch Dies, I die cut each pumpkin from the background. As you can see, I was a little off on stamping the stems but I didn’t worry about that. 😉

I cut the orange tag using the 2-inch tag from the Tag Stacklets 3 die set – there are 5 sizes (also from Taylored Expressions). Using a 1.5-inch circle punch, I punched circles from black card stock. I attached the circles to the orange tags and then attached the pumpkins over the black circles. I used orange/black bakers twine (this is similar twine) to tie the tags to my test tubes.

I filled my test tubes with Halloween mix M&M’s. You can also use Skittles, Reeses Pieces, or other small candies. Each test tube will hold a generous handful of candy.

Halloween isn’t the only holiday to give these Test Tube Treats… How cute would they be with a Thanksgiving tag for each place setting at the dinner table?!?! Or with a Christmas tag for a fun stocking stuffer? Or with a birthday tag for favors at a birthday party? So many fun ideas!
