Winnie the Pooh Birthday Balloon Card

Hi friends,

The Winnie the Pooh stamps from Unity Stamp Company are so fun! The card in today’s post is similar to the Pooh and Piglet Birthday Card I shared in this post. I used the same basic layout and color scheme with a different stamp – the name of this stamp sent is Winnie the Pooh: Pooh Just Knew.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white card stock and colored it with Copic markers – Y26, Y19, and Y21 for Pooh and R01, R02, YG07 and YG05 for Piglet. I used blues to match my card stock for the balloon. I masked the image and used a cloud stencil with blue ink and these Blender Brushes to create the sky.

I die cut the image using the Scallops & Rectangles Nesting dies from Unity Stamp Company. I layered the image to blue card stock die cut using the same set and attached it to a white card.

The birthday sentiment is from the Hugs, Kisses & Birthday Wishes set from Unity Stamp Company. I stamped it with blue ink on white card stock, punched it out with an oval punch, and inked the edges with blue ink using a sponge dauber. I attached the sentiment to the card using foam tape.

I think this set would make a great baby card or congratulations card – maybe even a graduation card. You can’t go wrong with Pooh and Piglet 🙂
