Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Hi friends,

Are you celebrating with some Mexican food today? My husband and I are heading to our favorite Mexican restaurant for dinner later. But who are we kidding – we have Mexican food almost once a week!!! ๐ŸŒฎ ๐ŸŒฎ๐ŸŒฎ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰

This is a fun card I actually made for my godson’s birthday a few months ago, but he’s perfect for today!

This cute little guy is a free with purchase stamp that I got from Simon Says Stamp several years ago. Unfortunately, he’s no longer available but My Favorite Things has this Sweet Seรฑorita stamp if you want to be ready for card making next year. ๐Ÿ™‚

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white card stock and colored it with Copic markers. I stamped “Tacos!” with green ink. I used the Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics from My Favorite Things to die cut the image along with a larger piece of red card stock for layering.

I attached a piece of green card stock to a white card, added the red die cut panel with foam tape, and then added the stamped image to the red panel with foam tape.

What’s your favorite Mexican food? I can never pass up the chicken enchiladas at our favorite restaurant…along with some chips and salsa and a little guacamole! Happy Cinco de Mayo! ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰
