Hi friends,
Christmas in July continues today with these Wood Snowflake Ornaments. ❄️ They are easy to make and may even be a fun Summer project to do with the kids.

To make these Snowflake Ornaments, you’ll need some 2-inch wood ornament cutouts and laser cut 1-inch snowflake wood cutouts. I had the ornament cutouts in my craft stash – I think I got them in the Dollar Spot at Target last year. If you can’t find ornament shapes, these wood circle shape cutouts would work great. You’ll also need bakers twine for making the hanger and white and dark brown acrylic paint.

First paint the ornament shapes with 2 coats of white acrylic paint, letting it dry between coats. I painted both the front and the back so it has a finished look. Once completely dry, lightly dry brush both sides of the ornament with dark brown paint. Then dry brush the snowflakes with the same dark brown paint. Glue the snowflakes to the center of the ornaments and tie a piece of bakers twine to the top for a hanger.

These will not only look great on your Christmas tree 🎄, but they will also make cute package tie-ons for all your Christmas gifts.
Have you started your Christmas crafting yet? 🙂
Anita
