Big Birthday Balloon – Handmade Card

Hi friends,

This Big Birthday Balloon card is so fun! And it’s super quick and easy to make. 😊

You’ll need a 3 inch circle punch and a 1 inch heart punch. Punch a circle from patterned paper and attach it to coordinating pattern paper, overlapping the top left corner. Trim the balloon to match the corner of the paper. Punch a heart from the same paper as the balloon. Turn it upside down and attach it to the paper with the point slightly under the balloon. Attach this piece to a white card.

Tie a knot in a piece of red/white bakers twine. Glue the knot to the balloon and glue the twine in a couple of places on the card.

I stamped the sentiment with red ink on white card stock, die cut around it with these Scalloped & Stitched Sentiment Nesting Dies, and attached it to the card with foam tape.

It’s a simple and fun card that is perfect for sending big birthday wishes to anyone. 🙂

Anita
