Fall Stretch Bracelets

Hi friends,

Making stretch bracelets is super easy! I’ve made a bunch of them for gifts and for myself. 😊

The possibilities for colors and shapes of beads are truly endless! You can make the bracelets in one color or several colors, one size bead or mix and match shapes and sizes. Just use your imagination and make something beautiful.

I found these Fall color beads at Hobby Lobby and they were 40% off – always buy when they are on sale. 😉 I added a package of silver spacer beads to add some texture and variety. You’ll need some Stretch Magic Elastic Cord to make your bracelets. I also have this Bead Board for Jewelry Making. It’s totally optional, but it does make it easier for laying out your beads and getting the size bracelet you want.

First cut a piece of elastic cord about 12 inches long – I find this is a good length for me to work with, but you can probably go down an inch or two if you want to. Give the elastic cord a good stretch. This will keep your finished bracelet from stretching out too much when wearing and leaving space between your beads – you don’t want that! 😳

I tie a loose knot at one end to keep the beads from slipping off and then string my beads in my desired pattern and length (this is where my jewelry board comes in handy). When finished, tie the ends together with a surgeon’s knot and add a tiny drop of E6000 clear adhesive to the knot to secure it.

That’s it! Now you have a beautiful custom made bracelet (or 4 😉) to go with your favorite outfit or to give as a gift.
