There’s still time to make this cute little tag to add to your Halloween treat bags for those special trick or treaters. 🎃 It’s super quick and easy to make – and it will use up some of those paper scraps you have laying around!
Punch 3 ovals from orange card stock. Stamp a pumpkin face on one of the ovals and ink the edges of all 3 with a darker orange or terra cotta ink. My stamp is an older stamp from PrintWorks. I don’t think it is still available, but there are lots of other face stamps out there – or draw your own with a black marker!! Slightly overlap the bottom 2 ovals and attach the oval with the face over the top.
Trim a tiny piece of brown card stock to make the stem and attach it to the back of the pumpkin. To make the vine, cut a thin strip of green card stock. Twist it around a lollipop stick, or something similar, so it will curl. Attach one end to the front of the pumpkin.
Punch a scalloped circle from black card stock and attach the pumpkin with foam tape. Stamp the sentiment with black ink on orange card stock and punch out with a label punch. Attach the sentiment to the scalloped circle. My sentiment is from Amuse Studio. Again, it’s an older stamp, but any Halloween sentiment you have will work just as well!
These little tags really do come together very quickly! Punch a tiny circle at the top and attach it with some twine to a treat bag filled with goodies.
Happy Halloween!! 🎃
