Thanks Handmade Card

Hi friends,

Sometimes less is more. This simple “thanks” card is a great example of that. It only takes a few minutes to make, but it makes a big impact.

The stamp I used is an older one from Hero Arts, but this poppy or this tulip would work great on this layout.

To make the card, I colored directly onto the stamp using Tombow Brush Markers. Any water based marker can be used – just make sure it is water based and NOT an alcohol marker. You can also ink your stamp using a dye ink pad or ink cube.

I stamped the flower onto white card stock, trimmed it, and layered it to green card stock. I attached the flower panel to a white card and stamped “thanks” with green ink in the bottom right corner. My “thanks” stamp is no longer available, but I love this “thank you” stamp.

And that’s it – simple and sweet!

If you are looking for adhesive for card making – this Tombow Dots Adhesive is my favorite. There are refills available, too.

Just by changing the sentiment this would make a great birthday, thinking of you, or even a sympathy card.

Happy Stamping!

Anita
