Hi friends,
Do you have leftover bits of yarn in your stash that are too much to throw away, but not quite enough for most projects? Yeah, me too! Recently, our local pregnancy center was in need of newborn baby beanies and those bits of leftover yarn were perfect for making them.

I had several colors of Yarn Bee Soft & Sleek yarn left from other projects. I love this yarn and use it often. It is so soft and not as fuzzy as some yarns can be.
I used The Parker Crochet Baby Hat pattern from Sewrella to stitch up my beanies. The pattern includes sizes from newborn through child sizes. I opted to make my beanies in 2 colors, but of course you can make them in one solid color. They work up so quickly – you’ll have several made up before you know it.

These are great to donate to your local pregnancy center or hospital. Just check with them first to make sure they will accept them. I love that this crocheting hobby can bring a little joy to others. 🙂
Happy Stitching!
