Hi friends,
Even though the kids are back in school, Summer isn’t quite over yet! There are still a few more days of August left to enjoy an afternoon at the pool or lake floating your troubles away. 🙂

This is a fun stamp set from Unity Stamp Company called Float Away. She is lounging on her sweet donut float, sipping her favorite cold drink. How could your troubles not float away?

I stamped the image on white card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored her with Copic markers, and cut her out. I stamped the sentiment with pink ink on white card stock, die cut it with an oval die (this is a great set of oval dies), and layered it to a scalloped oval die cut from pink card stock. (This Sizzix set of scalloped oval dies would be great to have in your craft room.)
To assemble the card, I layered pink card stock to a white card, using my Tombow Dots Adhesive, and layered patterned paper over that. I attached the sentiment to the card and then attached the stamped image with foam tape.

Maybe we don’t all have a pool or lake to float on, but I hope you will have a few minutes in your day to Let Your Troubles Float Away – just for a little while. 🙂
Happy Stamping!
Anita
