Chalk Painted Easter Eggs

Hi friends,

I found these cute crafting eggs in the Easter section at Hobby Lobby. They are just waiting for a creative touch – and they come in an adorable egg carton! πŸ₯šπŸ₯šπŸ₯š

The eggs are a light weight plastic and are all one piece – so not like the ones you fill with little treats for the Easter egg hunt. I decided to keep them simple and pulled out some chalk paints in fun colors. Hobby Lobby has a great selection of chalk paint in 2 ounce bottles which are perfect for smaller crafting projects.

I used a foam brush to paint my eggs. I applied 2-3 coats of paint, letting it dry thoroughly between coats. I painted one side of the egg at a time so it wouldn’t stick to my work surface.

Here they are in the egg carton they came in. Don’t they look super cute?!?!

And here are some of the eggs in a little basket I also found at Hobby Lobby. They are so fun!

You could also Mod Podge some cute Easter or Spring pattered napkins onto the eggs. Or add some polka dots or stripes to your painted ones. Use your imagination! I would love to see what you come up with! πŸ₯šπŸ₯šπŸ₯š
