Mini Crochet Valentine Hearts

Are you crafting for Valentine’s Day yet? These cute little crochet hearts work up in just a few minutes! You can find the free pattern here. It includes patterns for 3 sizes of hearts and a puffy heart. I’m making the small heart.

My finished heart measures about 1-3/4 inches wide by about 1-1/2 inches long. I used Lily Sugar ‘n Cream cotton yarn in red with an H/5mm hook to crochet my hearts – the pattern calls for an E/3.5mm hook, but I wanted my hearts to be just a little larger. Any worsted weight yarn will work just fine.

As you can see, I’ve made a few of these cute mini hearts. ❤️😊

I found these fun candy cups at Hobby Lobby in the Christmas clearance section – perfect for Valentine’s Day. Look in the cake decorating aisle and I’m sure you can find other patterns and colors.

Just look how cute these little hearts are tied around a treat bag with a baker’s twine bow! Who wouldn’t love receiving this adorable Valentine? ❤️

You could also make a bunch of these hearts and string them on twine to make a garland. Or put a hair clip on the back for a sweet little girl. Make them in white or pink along with the red – the three colors together would look so cute as a garland!

Thanks for stopping by,

Anita
